Today marks the start of Facial Palsy Awareness week. @nailsbynemo invited us all to join her in raising awareness for this condition. Damage to the facial nerve causes people with Facial Palsy to lose contol over the muscles in one half of the face, which as you can imagine is very scary, and also causes a lot of different problems in every day life. Please join us this week in raising awareness by for instance shaving half your beard (for the men among us), wearing makeup on only one side of your face, or if you're into nails, making a purple mani or doing only one hand. There are many ways to inform people about Facial Palsy.
